Events
Our unique event spaces offer a raw rustic chic aesthetic for all occasions from intimate gatherings to major celebrations and have played host to the Alderney Performing Arts Festival and popular L’Etoc Après Beach Bar over the past 12 years. To support the smooth execution of your event, we can offer advice to let you benefit from our extensive experience and local knowledge. Due to the unpredictable nature of Alderney’s winter weather, we are hesitant to accept bookings for outdoor events from October to April

After being completed in 1853, Chateau L’Etoc accommodated 128 soldiers. Officers were housed in 8 single rooms in the Officers’ Quarters (OQ), situated at the end of the West wing, while soldiers were housed in 9 dormitories in the East Wing. The Gallery and Common room, sandwiched between the OQ and dormitories, provided soldiers with areas to eat and socialise
Over the past 10 years, the 3 spacious Dormitories have provided atmospheric venues for wedding receptions, showings of the original 1922 black and white Nosfertu film accompanied by a live harpist and exhibitions of local art. Each of the 3 dormitories can host standing or seated guests
Exclusive Use
Chateau L’Etoc is available for exclusive use of all of its indoor and outdoor spaces. Previous exclusive use events have included 5-day beach wedding celebrations, summer exhibitions and unique canapés parties
