Alderney is accessible via a direct 40-minute flight from Southampton or a 15-minute flight from Guernsey, a neighbouring Channel Island


Aurigny

Aurigny offers direct daily flights to Alderney from Southampton and Guernsey. The airline also offers connecting flights through Guernsey to Alderney from London Gatwick, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Grenoble and Dublin amongst other destinations

Sea travel Providers

Alderney is also accessible by a 60-minute ferry service from Guernsey. This service provides an alternative to an Aurigny flight from Guernsey to Alderney. To travel to St Peter Port harbour for a ferry service from Guernsey Airport, the 71, 92 or 95 bus (£1.25 per passenger – Bus Route Planner) or a taxis (~£20 for 4 people – Taxi Booking or Airport taxi rank) are available from Guernsey Airport. Please double-check the departure points – these can be subject to change and are not the same across all providers – and beware of the 30-minute check-in time for the ferry service


Ferry services

Alderney Ferry Services is a 12 seat vessels which operates up to 3 daily return trips between Guernsey and Alderney subject to weather conditions

Condor Ferries operate year round ferry services from Pool, Portsmouth, Jersey and St Malo to Guernsey. Manche íles express also operate a summer Channel Islands hopping service from Diélette and Granville that visit Alderney in August. Both these services can be used with an Aurigny flight or with an Alderney Ferry Services trip to reach Alderney
